Tiggly Submarine: Preschool ABC Game App Reviews

I discovered tiggly one year ago with the shape. My son (now 4) and daughter (now 3) just love it and are used of shapes and math toys. We donloades tiggly submarine last week and they were very exited to get a new game. They were very interested in, specially with the octopus eating the food and the submarine washing machine. The images are very beautifull and they like to go donw to see the seebed lighted by the submarine. My son tried to touch the different fish and animals of the see because he thought that they would mouve and react like with tiggly addventure (the baloon that grow, the bees on the tree...). I think this could be a good change because it help child to spark their curiosity and I always see my child very proud of themselves when they discover a new element. Concerning the vowel, I prefered the elevator because the world choosen began with the good vowel which is easier to understand for little chill (E like Elf...) of this age. It took a little time for them to understand how to aspirate the animals and deliver them but this is I think the best way for they to learn the vowel (they have to think and try to find the same vowel than the one that blink and not just choose the one that they want). Thank you for all those apps, the kids just love them and everytime I invite some friends at home, the parents are always very interested. I would also thank your customer support that always helped me when I had difficulties.

This is definitely the next generation way of learning. You can put together learning, playing and technology in the same place. Making reference to The Beatless songs ( octopus garden and yellow submarine) this App is beautifully designed. We missed a map overview to guide us, and we found the fishes name a little bit complicated to young kids . My daughters loved it,

This app is great. My daughter who is in kindergarten really enjoyed the video game format of this app. As she was reinforcing her knowledge of short vowels she had fun. My four year old daughter also loved this app. She hasnt been introduced to the vowel sounds before so she was speaking along with the app and really got a good understanding of vowels and their sounds. This will definitely help her as she begins to read. Finally, I am an elementary school teacher as well. I introduced this game to my students today and they truly loved it. My students are 7 years old and they had a great time helping the submarine swim around looking for letters. I highly recommend this app to a variety of children. Younger ages benefit from being introduced to vowels and learning them along with this app. Older students benefit from the repeated practice of this concept, helping them to grow further in their decoding skills.

Tiggly knocks it out of the park again. I love that they are now doing literacy games. Tiggly submarine is extremely engaging for my 5 year old and I love hearing him sound out his vowels and get excited about reading!

This app does an awesome job teaching vowels. It is super fun and kids love the cool sea characters!!

We LOVE this app. A unique way to introduce vowel sounds to kids with lots of funny animations and many things to discover.

My son loves all things Tiggly. I bought the Tiggly shapes when the App first came out when my son was under 1 year old. Weve been a fan since then and the Tiggly math toys were also awesome. When I heard they came out with the Submarine App for literacy learning, I immediately bought it. My son who is 2 years and 8 months love this App. He loves saying the vowels when he hears them and the surprise of each new words appearing when he touches the vowels on screen. The words in the App helps expand the vocabulary and the animation keeps him engaged for a long time. He also loves the details of the graphic such as the bubbles and the shark!

My 4 year old loves fish and so this app was a real treat for him. I love that he is learning letters while he plays

I just downloaded this to play with my nephew over Memorial Day -- he loved it! Hes just learning to read and his mom was really impressed by his progress. Thanks Tiggly!

I downloaded this app to play with the kids I babysit and it is so much fun! The kids love the silly characters and have been imitating the vowel sounds and new vocabulary. The best part - both kids can play the app together - so there is no fighting over the iPad!

Very interesting and beautiful app ! I was looking for an app which had something to do with the ocean since my sisters kid is obsessed with anything fishy! Ive downloaded a lot of ocean games before for him but his mom says he quickly grows tired of them and they dont seem to teach him much. This app actually teaches the child about vowels which is a really important part of reading development and something I havent seen any app ever tackle. Hes only been playing this app a few days and he already is sounding out the vowels-it’s amazing. I don’t believe I even knew what a vowel was at his age.This app is officially AWESOME!

My grandson and I have reviewed and played the new word application and I can say it has been an unqualified success. He loved it from start to finish and it has already become a new favorite. I loved the way site words were used and he loved the games. Note: My grandson is autistic and any thing that helps him communicate better is greatly appreciated. We have already seen an improvement in his understanding and use of the concepts introduced with the new application. Please continue to add more words and levels to the games. We appreciate it when he has to earn the next level after mastering a level like in the math game. The simple colors and graphics ensure that the application is not overwhelming and assist with learning the concepts rather than getting to caught up in the game. Overall, a great new application, keep up the great work, we are fans for life!

This is a great app for kids to learn alphabets. My kids are not only learning new words but are coming up with so many fun words by themselves!

My niece and I love this app. Our favorite is the underwater elevator. Such great animations and characters!

My son loves everything ocean related, and he is also at the age where he is learning his words phonetically, so this app seemed the perfect fit. Happy to report he has been asking to play it non-stop since Ive downloaded it. The art and animation is really unique for a kids game. Its really silly, and has my son engaged throughout gameplay. The sounds are really playful and fun as well! I couldnt ask for more out of an app. My son is laughing and enjoying himself, and he is learning new words and reinforcing his phonetics as well! 5 stars!

My kids love interacting with the characters in the tiggly games and this new app is great as it teaches new vocabulary along with the vowel sounds.

Love this app. Its great practice for short vowels. I like how it gradually got harder as well. It first introduced the kids to the sound. Next it showed a word with the vowel highlighted and you had to choose the same vowel. Next it showed the word with the vowel missing and just said the sound. You the. Had to pick the correct vowel. Great for kids as they gain confidence. My daughter loved driving the sub around and thought as very exciting. I also love how the app uses some words as examples that arent so common- growing her vocabulary as well! As an educator I think this has great potential for engaging many types of learners and in combination with the actual tiggly letters will really reinforce the concepts. I would love to see in the parent section a little guide available to the parents explaining all the features of the app. Overall a great app and I cant wait to see the other ones that go with the letters.

We Downloaded Tiggly Submarine and my Three year old loved how he could drive the submarine.The purple octupus kept making him laugh. He loved making words with the letters and the colorful pictures kept his eyes very engaged!!!!!

Love the new Submarine app added to the Tiggly family of apps. As a mother of two (infant and toddler), I love the fact that I can allow my child to play with my iPad without constant supervision and the knowledge that she’s engaged and learning. As a teacher, I loved using the Tiggly apps at first as a reward system and have recently started using the apps for my struggling tactile learners in small groups. The new Submarine app is so much fun that my daughter and I both didn’t realize she was learning her vowels and sight words. The characters are cute as always and the ocean setting is vivid and opens up the child’s aquatic imagination (I can’t wait until the Tiggly Words come out, the Tiggly manipulatives add a wonderful “hands-on” component that teachers always look for). The learning aspect of the app is also quite good, there is a bit of drilling and repetition that the kids don’t realize because it’s skillfully covered in play. I do believe that it will give my child a heads up in phonic awareness for preschool and give my students a solid phonic foundation and repetition they need through fun.
